Over the last couple years I have interviewed dozens of coaches and trainers to try to understand what tools they're using to assess personal values with their clients and employees.
What I learned in my interviews is that 1) the usage of value assessment tools is somewhat sporadic and, 2) what is being used to assess values is all over the place—there doesn't appear to be a strong market leader.
While we do sell our own personal values assessment and values cards, based on the prevailing academic work on values, we do believe transparency is helpful to the professionals who administer these tools. So, in the spirit of knowledge sharing, we thought we'd pull together a full inventory of everything that we know is available on the market and share it with you.
